Something super familiar yet oddly novel, the MAC 3 is a blend of classic terps with hints of modern sensibilities. When you break the seal you are met with a bright citrus, and orange zest with hints of floral pines. As it settles, you get that classic spicy pepper bite layered over warm earthiness, grounding the profile and giving it real depth. Once cracked, there is an intense sweet and savory funkiness that is more inline with modern terp profiles. The smoke is light and clean but very flavorful, particularly on the exhale. The smoking experience is rich and satisfying, considering this is not a gas forward strain, it’s still delivering very tasty pulls. The effects are more inline with what you would expect with a sativa leaning strain, uplifting and energizing. Overall, MAC 3 is one of those strains that reminds you why the classics stick around.
